History

You will find the small cities of Urbandale to the north, Clive to the west, West Des Moines to the south and Des Moines to the east. Interstates 80 and 35 offer fast and quick avenues to go to all points of the compass, and Interstate 235 scoots you into Des Moines proper.

The city is also very aggressive now on connecting with a healthy and natural environment creating recreational facilities for all ages. Green space and trails have become a priority.
